Back issues of Marshnotes, the newsletter of the BC Waterfowl Society, published four times a year.

Note that each issue generally covers 3 months of the year and is issued about a month after the period of coverage. For example, the winter edition covers October to December. The assembly of contents and search for appropriate photos usually begins in mid-January, with the editing process completed and the issue put on-line within a few weeks of that.

Each edition of Marshnotes has an article summarizing bird highlights by week for the three month period covered by the edition. This is compiled from regular weekly species lists, bird surveys and many observations from visitors, volunters and staff.

Every Winter edition of Marshnotes contains a summary of the top birds seen each month for the previous year, plus our nominated Bird of the Year. Birds are considered monthly highlights if they are very rare here or very uncommon for that time of year.

Every week, we prepare a weekly species list and post it on the front window of the Gift Shop. It is also now posted on-line on the Weekly Species List page.
